This specimen is a skull prepared as a teaching tool for medical students. With its simple calvarium cut for easy removal of the skull cap, this skull is perfect for understanding the inner structure of the cranium, and features a spring allowing for easy removal of the mandible. This skull has most teeth present, some teeth are missing due to natural tooth loss. There is staining on and around the teeth, minor cavities in the molars, as well as a recessed alveolar process displaying the root structure. It has a beautiful white patina and stainless steel hardware. Responsibly sourced, beautifully preserved, and thoughtfully selected, this skull is the perfect tool for medical students, working professionals, and individuals interested in learning about osteology.
