This specimen is a skull prepared as a teaching tool for medical students, and features a simple calvarium cut for easy removal of the skull cap, this skull is perfect for understanding the inner structure of the cranium. It also features a spring allowing for easy removal of the mandible. This skull has good dentition, with staining on some teeth. Due to the size and poor fit of the mandible, it is likely not original to this individual and was mismatched. It has a beautiful white patina and brass hardware.
