This specimen is a skull prepared as a teaching tool for medical students. The calvarium cut which allows access to view inside the skull, has been taped shut. The mandible has been glued in, and cannot be removed. Due to the age of this skull, most of the teeth have broken off. This skull has a brown patina, and shows a Tramond seal on the left parietal bone. Responsibly sourced, beautifully preserved, and thoughtfully selected, this skull is the perfect tool for medical students, working professionals, and individuals interested in learning about osteology.
